7. You’ve joined a vessel and you have a drydock in 2 months time. What is the requirement for hull surveys? (including other ships)
8. Your vessel is also in dock for all it’s renewal surveys, what surveys would you expect?
9. What are all the Marpol related certificates?
10. Looking specifically at IOPP, what’s on it for your oil tanker and how would you prepare for the renewal survey?
11. What is the system that aligns all the certificates?
12. What are the Marpol requirements for machinery / cargo space discharge?
13. Entries of ORB 1 & 2? (Gave me the books so just opened them and showed him the codes.)
14. Buoyage, put the top marks on the buoys. Went through Safewater Mark, East Cardinal, Stbd Lateral, Preferred Channel to Stbd, Isolated Danger, South Cardinal. Placed the south cardinal directly ahead with North astern and says its in the channel.
