6. Take me through the overhaul of a 2-stroke Piston beginning from two weeks prior to the job. (Asked specifically what angle the piston should be at when working on the lower end) got as far undoing the hydraulic bolts then:
7. Skipped onto what checks should be made on the cylinder liner.
8. What is TBN in oil?
9. What checks should be made on the piston.
10. What lifting gear do we use in the engine room and what checks are made on them.
11. Boiler safety valves have been removed and are in the workshop. What parts are checked and what for.
12. Safety valves are replaced on the boiler. The boiler survey is complete, and the boiler is ready to be closed up. How do you go about closing and filling the boiler and testing the safety valves?
13. Boiler water what do you test for and what are the allowable ranges?
