    • 2nd off preparing PP for next voyage, as a chief officer what information would you expect from 2nd off?

    • MLC, Max. Contract period & where you can find this info?

    • What you know about Magnetism in magnetic compass, explain

    • Vsl aground your action as a Master, what help would you expect from nearest Port control?

    • You are on ballast voyage, weather forecast showing that vsl will be going to encounter heavy rough weather, preparation for heavy weather ballast, which tanks & the sequence.

    • You need to ballast a cargo hold, considerations.

    • How would you do this.

    • What equipment would this cargo hold have which means it could be ballasted.

    • Where would I find additional information on this.

    • Why can you only ballast certain holds?
