     Company sends you as a chief mate onboard a vessel which is at the yard and just awaiting
    to bedelivered. What are the preparations and checks will you carry out as a chief mate
    before thedelivery of the new vessel.
     How will you prepare for the ISM audit?
     What is the role of a chief mate in the implementation of the ISM?
     What are the certificates that comes under the ISM code?
     How to motivate the crew under ISM?
     The vessel has departed the yard and the vessel is in the Mediterranean Sea. Thechief cook
    phones up and asks you weather he can throw garbage overboard or not. Explain.
     After few hours, the vessel grounded. Action to be taken as a chief mate.
     How to go about with the re floating of the grounded vessel?
     The idea to re float the vessel has failed. What are the next considerations?
     The vessel resumed the voyage after refloating. The Master seriously falls ill.What will be

    keepthe vessel. After that explain each of the buoy including its light characteristics.

    Vessel on a busy TSS following the lane. Vessel has risk of collision with
    -sailing vessel crossing from starboard to port
    -PDV crossing from port to starboard
    -Fishing vessel fishing inside the lane.
    Also own ship has got another PDV going parallel, same course and speed on my
    starboard side. He asked me to explain the scenario and what action I will take in this situation =
    SLOW DOWN
